Tesla joins the Trillion dollar club

Tesla sets record breaking high with a 1 trillion dollar valuation after Hertz plans to buy 100,000 EVs.

All the while Tesla joins the Trillion dollar club alongside Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon.

After Tesla announced this Tesla has set the record for the company’s high with Tesla shares topping at 900$. Tesla announced that it had entered into an agreement with Hertz to acquire substantially all of Tesla’s mobility-related assets, including Tesla’s Gigafactory 1 facility, Tesla vehicles and Tesla equipment.

Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas set a price projection of 1200$ a share based on Tesla’s ambitious projections for its production rate, the growth of electric vehicle demand and Tesla’s groundbreaking patents. The deal with Hertz would bring in 4.2 billion dollars in Tesla making this the largest purchase ever Electric Vehicle.

Hertz says the deal should prevent rivals from copycatting this strategy.

Hertz also said it is teaming up with Super Bowl champion Tom Brady to “showcase how it is making EV rentals fast, seamless and more accessible.
