Actor Alec Baldwin has been shooting his new movie in the state of New Mexico, but he’s now shot and killed someone! Alec was spotted in tears after firing a prop gun that shot two people. The actor is said to have no criminal charge filed against him as Alec claimed it was an accident. More investigations are underway.

The movie, Rust, was being filmed at the Bonanza Creek ranch outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico on Thursday (21 October) and has now been shut down. Alec Baldwin, the actor playing a detective role in Rust was shooting this prop gun that shot two people. Alec is said to have been spotted in tears after firing it at close range killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins who died on his way to hospital. And the director, Joel Souza, 48, was shot and injured.

The movie’s spokesperson told the press “It is with great sadness that we confirm our crew member Halyna Hutchins passed away today after being shot by a prop gun during the filming of Alec Baldwin’s feature film. She was immediately transported to Santa Fe hospital where she died from her injuries.”

The movie Rust is about two detectives who are investigating an unsolved murder in New Mexico.
