Wiz Khalifa has been in the studio working on his next album, and he’s brought Cardo and Sledgren along for the ride. The two producers have worked with Wiz before, but this time they are taking their talents to another level. The result? A brand new project called ‘Wiz Got Wings’ that’s dropped.

Wiz Khalifa has returned, teaming with Cardo and Sledgren for his new project Wiz Got Wings.
Wiz is back in a familiar place, with his two go-to producers Sledgren and Cardo both of whom were already well-known during Kush & Orange Juice. The new album has Chevy Woods, Larry June, Currensy, Fedd The God, and Young Deji among its contributors. Wiz suggested that future music might be heard via social media.

The new album, Wiz Khalifa explained to Billboard, was made with the intent of capturing the essence of Kush & OJ and why it had such a strong appeal among fans.
“I had done approximately 10 mixtapes before coming out with Kush & Orange Juice,” Wiz explains. “But I believe that was only laying the groundwork for people to see my real potential. And by the time Kush & Orange Juice came around, I’d found my lane and style. It was just a sensation that took everyone by surprise. We constructed something you can return that feeling to now that they know it exists. ”
