The artists on ‘ DONDA’ are an eclectic bunch, with contributions from JAY-Z and Travis Scott to name just two. But one notable absentee is Soulja Boy who was featured heavily in previous Kanye West releases like “Graduation” or “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”.

Kanye West said that he was originally going to leave Soulja’s verse off the final cut because it “trash”.

More than two months after he found out that Soulja Boy wasn’t going to be on the final version of Donda, West seemed eager for a reconciliation.

West seemed to heap praise on Soulja Boy, saying “I love you bro. You’re a genius.” Wanna work with me on the new GAP campaign? And my album too!” The song that he was reportedly slated appear in appears different than what came out–instead it features Young Thug’s verse from ‘Remote Control’.

‘Idk how to feel, Kanye sent me that song “remote control” and I don’t hear my verse on it. Hmm f**k that n****a,’ he tweeted.

‘This n****a Kanye smh. Tell homie don’t hit my phone anymore.’

Soulja Boy already went to twitter to make a job about it
