Three artists took the stage to perform at Day 1 of the festival. One was a singer and two were rappers, but they all had one thing in common – their voice could be heard over any other sound that night as it carried across Las Vegas Boulevard!

When Kendrick Lamar took the stage, he performed some of his most popular songs from previous albums. The audience was excited to see this particular performance as it had been a long time since they’ve seen him live and heard “Section 80” in full volume.

From Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly album, to good kid m.A.A.d city and DAMN., there are plenty of moments that stand out as highlights on this historic concert tour with two dozen songs included in five acts—one for every one his ground-breaking albums! And don’t forget about the finale where he shared stages alongside Keemstar (the YouTube personality) during their journey together–it was EPIC AS HELL!!

The visuals throughout the show were dynamic and engaging. They helped to create an even more immersive experience for both audience members and performers alike, with scenes from Compton “Money Trees,” Lamar’s silhouette filled firewater in Element” a live-video recreation of his album cover Damn’ “DNA.” For swaggering song Humble there was footage shown on stage along side what we could see out into crowdside while rapporting; when he faced camera again after growling down lens it gave viewers perspective that changed lyrics entirely!

Lamar has been a force of nature since his debut in 2000, and he capped off this series by performing two songs for family. The crowd went wild as Lamar brought out the cousin Baby Keem who’s set to perform at Day N Vegas next week before closing with “Love,” which is about kinship between artists growing up learning how much demand there was from their talent towards being great at what they do.

In one sentence: A performance so intimate it felt more historic than any other concert you’ll go see all year long and knows whats coming next.
